What Makes Us Different
The Integrum team is passionate about helping practitioners help their patients. Every patient has different needs specific to their unique health treatment plan. We aim to work with the practitioner to develop options and solutions that best help the patient.
Knowing that what we do makes a difference in a patient's life motivates us to provide the best quality compounding products every day. We love what we do, and it shows in our quality of work. Integrum meets and exceeds compounding industry standards because we put our heart into what we do every day: research and development, testing a compound, or carefully crafting the prescribed medicine.
Even before the compounding process begins, we believe that good health care plans start with a comprehensive and thorough consultation. Good communication between the pharmacist and prescriber is vital. We can help provide a customized solution for individual patients with our expertise.
Turnaround Times
We know that providing excellent health care also means providing compounded medicine promptly. That’s why turnaround times are also a high priority for our team. Imbedded in our process is excellent communication between team members to create our compounds in a timely fashion. Plus, our modern facility is equipped to allow us to produce individualized medicine in a very efficient manner.
Set Up Your Account TodayQuality Through Testing
We are proud to exceed the standards in the compounding industry set by the NAPRA (National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities) and the ACP (Alberta College of Pharmacy). Our Quality Control and Quality Assurance Programs go above compounding standards to create quality products and keep our compounders and patients safe.
Each of our ingredients undergoes rigorous testing to ensure we are only using the high-quality ingredients verified by PCCA and suppliers. We guarantee our active ingredients have a certificate of analysis and thoroughly review them for each chemical. Likewise, Integrum Compounding Labs will only order quality products from reputable sources.
The “beyond-use date” (BUD) is regulated according to compounding standards.
Extensive formulation research on each active ingredient is completed to ensure the most advantageous dating. The date is based on the type of drug, how fast it degrades, dosage, type of container, storage conditions, prescription length, and the likelihood of contamination. Moreover, we spend considerable time and resources communicating and consulting with experts to determine the best BUD for all of our compounding ingredients.
In creating each compound, we check for conversions, compatibility, best bases for absorption and therapeutic action. We also realize the importance of cosmetic elegance and aesthetics. Therefore, we also take care to spend time creating medicine that is attractive.
Our facility has comprehensive standard operating procedures, quality control/quality assurance programs, and outsourced final product testing.
With extensive access to leading research in North America, we can assist practitioners in developing a personalized approach to help each patient.
